Behind the creation of LAVYcosmetics lies the personal story of its founder, Michal Ustohal.
After years of a heavy workload — 12 to 14 hours a day, for 25 years straight, as the sole breadwinner for two families and a father of six children — the inevitable happened. Burnout, severe depression, panic attacks, repeated episodes of losing consciousness, repeated medical examinations and hospital stays, and even the breakdown of his second marriage. He sought a path that would not be based solely on short-term solutions. But on long-term bodily balance. This experience wasn’t the end goal — it was the beginning. It led to a deeper interest in how the body actually works. And how it can be supported more effectively and gently. His transformation gradually began to inspire those around him. What started as a personal journey naturally evolved into a project — and from that project, the LAVYcosmetics brand was born.

From the laboratory to you. The story of a technology that changed the game.
Lavylites products weren’t created in a marketing agency. They were developed in the laboratory of Tibor Jakabovics — a Hungarian chemical engineer and researcher whose passion lay in the microscope and scientific research at the intersection of biology and physics. One day, a close friend of his suffered severe burns. Tibor sought a way to help him — naturally, but with scientific precision. He created the first formulation. The results were so surprising that a wave of interest soon followed – even from pharmaceutical companies, which, however, wanted to keep the products under lock and key so that they would not threaten their market share. Tibor decided otherwise. And we are glad he did.
